Winner of the 2014 United Nations Association Film Festival Youth Vision Award, DESCALZOS follows the story of the indigenous Triqui children of Oaxaca, Mexico to their first international basketball tournament in Orlando, FL. Known for playing entirely barefoot (Descalzos in Spanish) these children have inspired so many people with their national successes as one of the best youth basketball teams in the country.
